Tweener handle question

like pretty much everyone else who hangs out here, when the tweeners come out, i'll be getting them. and i'll also be wanting to get the same canvas micarta handles that i've got for the rest of the Beckers.

any idea if micarta handles for the tweeners will be coming out at the same time as the blades are released?

From what I remember hearing a while ago they are suppose to be available. Haven't heard anything official though.

I would feel fairly certain that they would release about the same time as the knives but someone else will have to confirm. I plan on getting a pair for sure.

On the subject of handles, I have been emailing back and forth with Michael at Saint Cutlery about if he would be making handles for the Tweeners. His response was "if it is a Becker, I sure will." I am having this vision of 3 tweeners with 3 different handles.

I told him if he needed a set to make a pattern I would send him a pair off the 1st one I buy. We'll see what he says.

Also, the tweeners will come with different handle scales. You can roll with the normal black, or the Coyote Brown scales that come with it.

And as far as I know there should be Micarta released for them right at or soon after launch.
