Tweeners !!!

I have to admit I was more excited until I saw them. I wanted a mini BK2 not a different knife with a similar blade profile that resembles the one on the bk2. They just don't look right to me.

Maybe I will like them more in person.

I'm excited for the drop and clip point versions but it really depends on the cost of these guys. As long as they maintain their high price to performance ratio I see at least 2 of them in my future. Has a price been released?

I remember Ethan saying they'd have a street price of around $50 each. Not counting the Micarta.

I agree. To me, they don't look very Becker. I'll probably only end up buying one of each. Maybe two of the clip point.

a shrunken BKT handle doesn't fit the hand as well as the tweeners will. (don't ask me how I know that...)
I think Ethan has done a great job of staying true to the line, but adjusting where appropriate for the new scale. They have a bit of the BK11 about them, but with all the handle I wish that knife had.

I love the new tweeners, especially the drop point. I also think he did a great job designing them. Really looking forward to getting one, or two, or...

I'm not sure if i can say this on here but, once you hold them in your hand, they will make you smile, like all the fullsized Beckers do ! The handles are perfect from what i felt, but they were micarta. I prefer the grivory so i can mod it to make them grippier.

I had the same thought immediately. But they grew on me. I'll at least get the drop point and some micarta.

I carried the CampTweener since Thursday. It was a good belt knife, and for those that think they won't like the handle, I had people of varying hand sizes get a grip this weekend, with 1066Vik having the largest hands by far, at the Gathering, and he found them to be good, and quite comfortable. As well as a young lady there, who's hands would fall under the category of "tiny". Said it was a good fit.

Its gonna be a great series of knives, with the term Universal in mind.

I was on the fence about these until I got to hold them -- lust doesn't begin to describe it.
I'm not a clip point kind of guy, but the mini-camp & the mini-mag are definitely on the list of things I must own.
