This is our #2 hunter with a stick handle of sambar stag and a thong hole. The blade is 3.5 inches long of 1/8 inch CPM S30V. The guard is 416 stainless steel. All that is left to do is sharpening. Tomorrow morning, this knife will be headed to a patient customer in Alabama. Hope he likes it...

Clean, basic, and very useful looking.....I like it.

the whole knife has nice lines, but I especially like the faceting of the guard. Very trick.

David this is the sheath with the #2 hunter. It is 8 to 9 oz leather with a Neatsfoot oil and beeswax finish.

Very nice! I love your work. My stag handled, BG42 bladed Green River Skinner looking camp knife is one of my favorites. Picked it up a couple of years ago, from you guys, at the Little Rock show. :)

Clean design and execution - no doubt it would serve very well indeed.

This is a picture of the old sheath (on the right) after it was modified by the owner's lab puppy. We decided that "lab work" was covered under our warranty and made a replacement sheath for the knife that will be heading to the owner along with the "chew toy". Sometimes you get a chance to do something over and you just do it....

Labs can be so much fun. I once had one and bought him a custom made dog house. The first thing he did was chew every shingle off the darn thing.

Good on you boys for covering "Lab" work. Makes for great customer relations.

Yikes - hope the knife wasn't in the sheath at the time of the modifications - looks like he got right through the tip portion. New one looks very nice, though hopefully less tasty.

Roger I didn't look to see if the tip was exposed, but he was getting really close if it wasn't. Charlie said I should have made a little stamp shaped like a dog track for this sheath and used it instead of my deer track stamp. I might have to look into doing that.
