Just finished up this pair of AEB-L Santokus for a customer. The Koa and the African Blackwood were each split from the same block. I also tried to keep the figure of the Blackwood oriented similarly between the two knives which was nerve wracking.
The Over all lengths are 12" and the blades are 7". The AEB-L was HT by Peters to RC61 and the blades were compound ground with the lower half convexed on rotary platen.
