I've done a bunch of work with Charlie and Harry Mathews (Charlie always gets first billing: alphabetically and in minutes of age.... ;) )

You've all seen their carved pieces, but they enjoy making the standard classics all the time also.

Check out the nicely shaped micarta handle on this drop-point folder. Really sweet:



Lastly, one of my very favorite engravers and makers is Jim Small. When the three of these guys get together, the result is very handsome:



I hope one of these fine brothers will be along soon to help fill in any blanks I've left out.

Thanks for the comments guys. Coop thanks for the photo of the folder with the blade closed. I meant to tell you to do that. Guess I didn't have to. The folder was designed to not have any of those odd, sharp angles sticking out when closed and be stiff as a drop point hunter when open, with a handle that is comfortable to use.
