I have not been around posting for some time now - and probably will visit not too often in the future - no time, no khukuri-money. Because the news of the day is: we will have twins in february if everything develops well. Simon, our first child is 16 months now - so it will be quite some work to change diapers of three kids. We are about to move to a new home (a house of our own) right now (moving day is Oct.7th), I will have quite a lot of work in the job this year and now this - we are looking forward to the twins and are a bit frightened too.

Our expression must have been priceless - of course we knew about the pregnancy but expected one - and today the doctor (watching his sono-screen) said: "oh - what do I see here - they are .... wait .... no, there are just two of them." at first we did not know if he was kidding or not - but obviously there were two babys on the screen - and we suddenly had an explanation why my wife´s sickness did not end with week no.12 but goes on in week no.16...
Well we pray that the pregnancy goes well.

I will follow the forums from time to time but wanted to say "good bye" as an (not so) active poster for some time.

Congratulations and best wishes. As they say, it's not really parenting until you are outnumbered. :)
You will do fine. Like everything else - one day at a time.

Congratulations! And encore! (The world could probably use a few more responsible knife knuts!)

Of course, you will soon need to hang out on the H.I. forum much more frequently--in order to equip all of your kids with appropriate cutlery!

My very best wishes to you and your spouse.

My sympathies, as well, for ...er...the joy of growing as a parent and a sleepless person.:)

Visit when you can.

Wonderful news! if a bit scary for you. :p Best of luck and please keep us informed.

Congratulations!!!!  :D

Congrats x 2! Have your wife try chewing on some fresh ginger for the sickness. Worked for my wife and several other friends, too.

Glückwunsch, Andreas! :)

Viel Spass mit den kleinen Lärmgeneratoren, die 3/4 ihrer Nahrung direkt in Dezibel umsetzen ;)

Gruss, Keno

thank you for the kind words - the cantina has proved once again to be a place of friendship and empathy. I will keep you informed.
