Well, i gots all 3 of those bad boys. BK15, BK16, BK17. I think i may actually safe queen these & buy a set of 3 regular ones for users. That is a first for me. My daughter (TwinStick Jr) was looking on in envy as i was taking them out of the sheaths. She freaked out when i took the BK17 out. That is the one she has been wanting so bad. So i handed it to her first, for her inspection. She loved it. I told her "good, because it's yours !" So she now has an integral piece of the set of 3. She has been doing SO good in school & made the Honor Roll & was inducted into not one but two National Honor Societies. The high school & the vocational school (for Criminal Justice). I told her i would get her a reg one, for a user, as well. She already told me that she wants to get a Becker BK9 & a BK17 & have a custom sheath setup like the ones i have, with the option to seperate them & wear individually, with her first paycheck or 2.
I REALLY love these knives. Ethan hit the ball out of the park on these IMHO, but hey, what do i know. The sheaths are top notch. A HUGE step up from the normal nylon ones. I think i know why they revised the production run to a FFG on the BK16. It feels noticeably heavier IMHO, than the others. Personally, i think that is a good thing, yet realize that i am in the minority on this. It will be hard for me not to use this/these ones. I gotta say, that right now, with no field use, the BK15 is my favorite. It is fast in the hand, just like its big brother, the BK5. Again, my hats off to you Ethan. Wish i could afford a set of 8 BK15's, for the ultimate steak knife set. Steak, Beckers, sharp goodness, mmmmmmmm !
Last pic was a bad attempt at a "Warrior shot."
