ok some of you i had wispered of a new knife i hoped to see made
and this past weekend it showed up and now i own it ...
a factory damascus frame 110 with damascus blade

your first impresson is gee that is a big 112..
but as you handle it you see it is not a 112

it is a 110 with a 112 hook on the front

here is a close ups of the inverted blade stamps

and a study of the front part of the handle

and the rear part of the handle

there is one other damascus frame 110 that was at a west coast show
that it had a normal 110 shaped handle ...

but this one is mine !!

the handle is inspired by a expermantal
knife made 20 + years ago called the 110 Thin Side
there were two versons of it made
one was simply a real thined down normal shape 110
the other had a 112 hook on the front as this one does

i can tell you that the hook on this 110 feels RIGHT !
i do belive if this was a veration in brass it would sell as
it has such a firm grip jest in its shape!!!

no i dont think there is another like this as it is expermental ..

Wow, that is a pretty cool looking 110. I wish they would go with making more solid metal handled 110's.

Nice score 110Dave,

That knife belongs in a world class 110 collection like your's! I wish the BCCI would do a DM frame/stag insert 110 & 112 as club knives:)
