I thought I would bring this to the top.:)

go to a Chinese or Vietnamese pharmacy and ask for "Deet-jan-dow" or Zheng Gu Shui. I have some "home" made Chinese medicine but the other stuff is almost as good and it does work!

Deet-jan-dow - Isn't that stuff for mosquitos? :D

Actually the "Tiger goop" seemed to work well and it seems to be almost normal now.

Would the Chinese medicine store guy know what I was talking about if I went in and drawled out Deet-jan-dow in a North American accent?

I'd be afraid of damaging it. :( However, I'd feel the same way if it were a rusty I-beam passaround.
