The main blades in soldiers/pioneers are angled and twisted to accomodate the awl. Does the solo use the same blade? Are the cadet blades oriented the same way, or are they straight/flat? I'm just curious, I love my soldier.

I'm also wondering what can be done by custom builders?

Not sure about the solo, but I believe the cadet is also like that to accomodate the nail file.

EDIT: There's your answer :D
EDIT2: The custom builders can do some pretty cool stuff mate. They can pretty much make an SAK with the tools that YOU want and get rid of all the crap that you dont need. They can also change the scales for you with a material of your choosing (get your favourite cellidor SAK in ALOX :D).

The term is Krinking , a fine old cutlers tradition in multiblade pocketknives .

the soldier, pioneer or farmer alox blade slightly twisted by design, so it fits the punch perfectly... but the edge still a stright line... no performance drawback in usage though...
