I finally had time to make up a few of these I could experiment a little with. A few lines were altered from the prototype, and the thumb rest area of the spine was exposed more in the open position. The blade is the wider version of this model, and is finely hollow ground to a very thin edge. The handle is hand sculpted and inset with 3 recessed Swarovski crystals on each side, which change color from purple to blue to gold depending on the viewing angle.
Here's the specs:
1/8" thick 440c blade- Paul Bos heat treat @57-59rc
3" recurved blade; 1 1/2" wide at tip- w/ phosphorous bronze washers
8 3/4" overall, 6 1/2" closed
Black G-10 handles with stop pin; sculpted and inset w/ Swarovski ss20 Amethyst AB
This one is going up for sale, and I'll have another in black linen micarta with the slightly thinner blade profile finished soon.
