Twitch 2 question

Hi, I'm interested in purchasing the SOG Twitch II available at this link:
http://www.gpknives.com/item/sog-twitch-ii-black-tini.html.

It appears to have the Black TiNi blade of the TWI-12, but the black aluminum handle and stainless hardwear of the TWI-14. I really like this combination, but I have not been able to find this model anywhere else (not included in the discontinued product section of the SOG website). I'd just like to confrm that this specific knife was actually made by SOG.

Does anyone haave any info on year, model number, other examples, etc.

Like they "GP Knives" say make sure you ask all the question before you buy a knife. I emailed them, and they got back to me in no time. I have purchased a couple things from them, and they have very good products.:thumbup:
 
I was just at Grand Prairie Knives yesterday. I did not notice the knife in question as I didn't check out the SOGs yesterday (I'm waiting for them to get the Carbon Fiber Arcitechs, otherwise I have what I want that is out).

The people there are top notch. They will not sell you a fake/counterfeit claiming it is something it is not. If they have it in stock (which it looks like they do), then go ahead and order it. Just remember that they are closed on Mondays, so your order won't be processed and shipped until Tuesday. Regardless, you'll probably have the knife in hand by the end of the week.
 
Thanks for the confirmation. Right after I posted this, I went to look in the "Hall of Fame" section about retailers and noticed that Grand Prairie Knives is highly recommended. I probably should have checked there before posting :)

Anyway, I'll be ordering the knife tommorow and excitedly await its arrival!
 
That is actually the TWI-12. It appears that the images on our website might be incorrect. I am going to have to look into this.
