Hi,
I have given the Twitch XL awhile and really like it now. The blade shape is perfect for my EDC needs and I really like the grey stainless handle. Its still a bit stiffer than I like. Is it possible to give the hex bolt where the knife pivots a little turn, or is that a bad idea?

thanks for any help.

I don't think it will hurt anything, just remember the coil-spring is under the pivot screw. If you get it too loose, the spring will jump out of it's slot. Not the end of the world though. (just a heads up) I took the spring out of mine and the longer I used it the smoother it got.(where the lock bar rides on the tang of the blade) I really like this knife and it finds ALOT of pocket time.

Ok, thanks. I may just give it a bit more time and then give it a real small turn. I dont want it to open on its own, which is, I suspect, why its made pretty stiff. Could be one of those things that I "fix" and then realize why they were better off the way they were set at the factory.

Most days it has taken the place of my Al Mar Falcon, which is a beauty and maybe the best cutter I have. Also the Twitch XL is not as scary as the Vision, which is another great blade.
