Here are two I just got back from Paul Long. He did his magic as usual! Amazing tooling and overall a wonderful man to deal with! I wanted to get these up before i left for the weekend.

Both knives are 15" OAL with 10" blades, some of the best ironwood i've had. The chopper is O1 and the other is 1095.

Just wanted to show off Paul's work!

Big pics!

Very nice Tik, I have heard he does great work.

How bout some contact info for Paul, I may need a sheath soon.

Those are 2 excellent looking knives,a little outside the box.:) The slanted bolster incorporated into the handle is cool. The leather work looks first rate.Would you mind Pm'ing me the cost of the sheaths? Thanks.

That is the nicest figured Ironwood I've had the pleasure of seeing in quite a while. Two very nice knives,I do like the hamon you got with that 1095. :D
Those sheaths are clearly beautiful.Works of art.And look stunning with your knives.
Talked to sheathmaker a while back,he had an order for 12 or 24,I forget now,for an "explorer" club or something.Anywho,
I needed a pair of pants for my Uwe Hoffman Ranger,my only sheath-less knife.:o
Then my collection will be complete. :D
Better send him an Email and see if I can send it to him.Texas, right?

Doug :)

Thanks for all the kind comments!

I agree on the ironwood. It will darken some, but I like the character these had...I will pick this quality stuff up every time....For the difference in price, its well worth it, IMHO....

Im holding onto these to bring to a hammerin and I'll have them at the May NCCA show in CT if anyone wants to look at them up close. As a newer maker, I'm always interested in feedback.
