Here are two big bowies that I made for a forum member and his wife to take with them to the Philippines. They are both differentially hardened 1095 with figured walnut handles, stainless guards that are soldered on, and leather sheaths. Both blades are about 10".

Here's the first one with a smaller handle:

Here's the second one. Similar, but with a larger handle:

As a Knife-maker myself, there's some of us who like to collect other knifemakers knives. When I saw Rob's knives once on BF, I decided to order a Bowie for my Wife, after looking her knife over,I couldn't believe Rob's quality for the prices he was charging,so I ordered another bowie for myself ,plus today I put two more orders in for small skinners.you can get skinners with beautiful walnut or burl wood of your choice for around $ 100.00 an for the big Bowie with 10inch blades for $ 200.00 an for $25.00 more get a well made sheath. my Bowie's are 1095 steel differentially heat treated. Get them while there low cost is all I can tell you. --Joe Allen

Three words come to mind "NICE, CLEAN AND CRISP" Great job.

Hey Rob, I've been cutting small tree limbs an willow bushes, plus yesterday I cut the bark off a fresh coconut then cut it in half doing one cut at a time as I revolved the coconut, no harm to the blade in all this ,got some staining from the coconut, very minor though. I can't wait till my blade gets a whole patina look, then It'll look broke in. Plus looking forward to the two small skinners I ordered. I think your the best buy in BF for the money, keep up the good work, -----Joe Allen
