Ok in that same thread Rescue Riley asked in that shoulder bag in my everyday carry. I replyed yes it is. Then I got to telling a story of how I used to carry two military canteen cups with one canteen.
by puttng the canteen in one cup and then flipping the other one over on top like in these pics. You can do this with other metal cups like the gsi and so on.

Kathy decided that whe was going to go and visit her mom this weekend.
So I am going camping. One thing Rescue Riley said that if I just added a bed roll and poncho to that kit I would have a good camping set up. Well that is about all I am going to do. for theis camping trip. LOL

I am heading to some land 160 acers about 3 minles from the farm here, that my sister owns. 1/2 timber 1/2 prarrie grass. with 2 creeks running through it. It is a great place to roam around and camp on.
Well If you want you can read that part of my reply in that thread. The reason that I posted this is that as I was packing up to take off and go camping I found this canteen and the 2 cups in my Becker patrol pack on one of the side pockets and thought I would post a pic of it. This is a great way and cheap way to carry a canteen and 2 metal cups.

When I saw them in the pack, that made me think about it and what that other member asked about the nesting pots and cups. So I thought I would post a few pics of the canteen and cups.
Maybe this type of thing will work for you if so Great if not That is fine to LOL
I will be taking my ATV. I have to check on our old ferret, She is 7 years old and the little girl needs checking on some play time.

since no one will be home to check her food and water and all to I will check back in about 8 pm tonight I am leaving in a few minutes.
Take care all and chat with you later,

Bryan

That's a great idea. I've always carried two canteen cups ( and two canteens) but I just carry mine in the traditional way. I never thought about putting one cup on the top and only carrying one canteen but that looks like it'll work fine for me.

Thanks for the tip

Echo4v, you are very welcome. I use to do just like you said that you have been doing. I did not always need to carry 2 canteens but like the thought of having 2 metal cups. So one day I was going over my gear and thought how can I carry two can teen cups in my Military butt pack then I was holding both canteen cups one in each hand the then just put the 2 open ends together and the idea hit me. put on on top of the canteen it self. so I did and the rest is history as they say LOL
