Thought I'd include both of these in one post because of the obvious similarities. Tip 'o the hat to Coop who shot the second one for me a while back, did a great job and posted it in another thread. It's a tough blade to shoot and I had to give it a try myself.
This first one is only 3 5/8 in. OAL. The steel is from a file and the wood is ebony. The choker is steel and the hair is.... to quote Tai, "I want to say skunk, but I honestly don't remember. I'm quite sure it isn't human though." Also per Tai, "It's a dual concept, sex and birth. The choker, plus the way the arms and legs are positioned, suggest a type of bondage. Other than that I'll leave it open to interpretation."
The next one is a "Serpentine Goddess" - also out of Tai's Goddess series from some years back. Per Tai, "The meteoritic damascus piece has a triple hollow forged/ground blade. The handle is the Serpentine Goddess, a gila monster head, and snake's body with six tits." OAL is 10 in.
Hope you all enjoy looking at these as much as I do. They are truly unique works of art and perfectly executed.
