I just finished these two customs for a forum member today. I think that now I need to make another for myself in the BK10 style. Never really cared for it in pics. But now that a BK7 gave his life to start over as a Bk710 I really like the sturdy tip and light weight.

Wow. Very interesting, cool, and great work. I'm thinking about asking Bladite if he wants to start a modified Beckers Thread and keep it for posterity. That way folks can see all the great mods that have been done.

Those blades are some nice custom work, great job! Moose I think that would be an awesome thread, great for idea's, do's and don'ts and etc..

Great work there! They came out really good looking!

That would be awesome . I remember when I first joined to Becker forum searching for custom knives and mods people have done. It would also be cool to have a sticky for sheathes. But I bet we can't get both so maybe combine them into a custom Becker and sheath thread.

Only an Okie would do something like that.. :)

Good job, did you use a thin cutting wheel?

Yeah 1/16 thick air cutoff tool blade on my 4" makita grinder and going slow to not build up heat. Then 6x48 beltsander and 1x30 beltsander and finally sharpen and polish.

Randall,

The knives arrived today.

AWESOME!

You did a great job on these. It is interesting how they both feel very different. Same lengths but the different tips really makes them handle differently.

Thanks again

Kevin

Wow, that's some really cool custom work! Smart thinking to go slow to keep them from gaining too much heat. Thank you science!

BTW it would be really nice to see a stickied thread filled with nothing but customs.

The BK710 is a awesome nimble blade I will be making another one of those for my self soon as I get my hands on another BK7. Now I just need to figure out A good method how to cut down the sheathes and make them the right size for the knives.

there is a slot in the master outline for such things, should people have enough interest, and populate it...

but it's up to the people :)

see the master sticky of stickies master thread master list master :)

then y'all beeyatches had better produce :)

doesn't need to be a hard sticky, but y'all need to fill it...

and damn, these mods are dammmmm sweet! :)

Hey Randall and Ruckmaster......

Very interesting.....I hope you both keep us informed on how these very cool mods actually work.....Esthetically the short "10" appeals a bunch but, I suspect the other mod may be more useful.....Very nice work.......Thanks for sharing the results.......

All Best......
