I posted a picture of the lrg cutter before ( Bush hog blk handle) the pictures were of very poor quality. So I'll try it again ,The other cutter is a 10"x2" O-1 forged blade, bronze ferrule with file work, the handle is marble wood overall 16"

sean....what is that lanyard connected to on the top knife....i like that one in particular....is there a hollow pin or something we can't see in the pic.....congratulations on your win at the cutting competiton.....your site has alot of great knife pics....ryan

Ryan, it has a 3/16" hole through the ferrule,This foward landard makes it much safer to use+ it helps keep your hand foward and from slipping down
the handle during heavy use. Warren Osborne came up with the foward landyard . You can use this foward laynyard for the blade sports cutting competions but not at a A.B.S. cuts. The A.B.S. has the lanyard to the rear only for there cuts.To each there own

thanks for the info sean....i have seen the forward lanyard in use and think it is much better than a lanyard further back on the handle.......is there any reasoning why the other competitions don't allow a forward lanyard.....i'm trying not to go too far off topic but it is interesting......ryan
