For a customer I made these two daggers. One is made out of damast (O1 and 75ni8) full tang and double edged. handle is ebony and new silver pins. The other family member is made out of D2 with black canvas micarta slabs and stainless pins. The handle area is bead blasted, the blade has a 800 grit finish.

I really liked making these two, although I had some troubles. Had to make a new damascus billet for the first one didn't go as planned. I also like the difference in appearance. One has a pattern in the blade and a solid colored handle, the other one a plain blade and a pattern in the handle.

I hope the customer will be happy too.

Me likey! :thumbup: No offense, but I kinda hope the customer hates the Damascus one... If so, find ME! My username is 'Jaxx'...'J', 'a', 'xx', :D I'll be here all year and SOLD!, LOL (kidding, I'm sure that your customer will be thrilled!)

I don't know if I would call these daggers, but whatever they are called, I like them. The pattern welded on is my favorite.

they are totally sweet mate...very very nice. How much do you charge for a pair like that? Particularly the plain one with micarta handles.

Keith I think your right, it's more of a fighter with a very slender and stretched bowie profile.

I finally got the dimensions of these knives:
Overall length: 11.2
handle: 5.1
blade: 6
thickness: 0.2
