I wanted to make something different than the first ones I've made, so I came up with these.

This one is 4 1/2" long in my traditional san mai damascus. Leather lanyard with a stag bead and a simple sheath to protect it.

Now the second one is 93mm (3.66") long, 13mm (0.51") wide and 6mm (0.23") thick.
Traditional san mai damascus too, but heat annodized. Also a leather lanyard with a stag bead and a simple sheath to protect it.

Wow different but really practical:thumbup::thumbup:
Thanks for sharing.

Very cool. I like the second bottle opener and the middle blade that has a ring in it.

Really stylish bottle openers.
I like the damascus patters on the first the most. The shape looks like a piece of modern art.

The 2nd one looks to have the perfect size, but I'm wondering where the point on it is designed for. Wouldn't it be able to accidentally hurt you, or isn't it as sharp as it looks?

I like the looks of the dark blue blade with the ring very much. (it is the last knife in the last picture and the one above the folder knive, on the right side of the orange bottle cap). I think Murdok comment was about this one too . It looks 'unreal' in a very cool way.

That's the blade of the first folder I'm gonna make!

Nice to hear that. Can't wait so see how it will look like. I really admire the originality and diversity of your work.:thumbup:

Have you thought of converting the 'opener' to a Gut Hook?
Lots of ugly non-knife gut hooks, ZERO stylish ones.

Take example 1, lengthen it just a smidge, rework the business end, include longer lanyard/wrist strap for more purchase and viola!
I'd be willing to 'test' one out for you this fall. ;)

Very cool! How about a Damascus corkscrew / knife tool for opening wine bottles?

I have many ideas for similar items, but I have so little time now to try new things. Eventually I'll be able to show more stuff :)

I do plan on making a damascus corkscrew in the future. :D (and a lot more kitchen stuff too)
