I just got my first Daywalker designed knife in the mail yesterday. A fixed blade Subcom, I fell in love with it instantly. I liked it so much I bought a Trance on ebay today for $22. I can only imagine I'm going to like it as much. Thanks for some great designs Daywalker!

I've been carrying a plain edge Subcom (folder) as my edc for roughly the past 6 months. I've been so impressed with it that I recently ordered a Rescom and a Trance. The Trance arrived today (I think we bought from the same seller on eBay, if $22 was the "buy it now" price). All I can say is, "WOOHOO!!!" The lock snaps into place with a nice click, the edge is hair-popping sharp, the blade pops open with a little flick of the thumbstud, and it feels great in the hand. I love the Subcom so much that I don't want to stop carrying it, but the Trance is cool too, so I'm gonna start carrying it alongside the Subcom. I guess when the Rescom comes in, I'll have to edc 3 different CLB knives at once. I can think of worse things.:p

Mucho kudos to Daywalker for his outstanding designs.

I forgot to ask, anybody know a good sheath maker here in the U.S that does kydex sheaths for it?

Mahalo MUCH flyer35, G. Scott H., and jaislandboy!!!

You guys are great, and enjoy your knives!;) Um, Rob...try looking up Death's Head on this forum. He did a neck rig for my SF in the closed position and it's great! Good work and a heck of a nice guy!

God bless and thanks again you all:cool:

You will like the Trance. I use the Trance more than the "bisket". It's just right size, fits my hand like a glove.

Glad you like the Trance. Keep us posted on it's usage when ya can!

God bless and take care:cool:

A couple pics of my ever-growing CLB/Boker family.

Trance, Rescom, and Subcom, along with one of my Pelican L1's. The L1 and Subcom make a perfect inexpensive but great quality compact edc combo.

Once the Wharcom arrives, the family will be complete (until Chad releases his next knife, at least).;)

Mahalo G. Scott H.,

Nice pics and great knives!!!:p BTW, how is that L1? That lil' bugger caught my attention when it first came out.

Thanks a lot, and God bless:cool:

I like the L1 a lot. I have 5 of them stashed at various locations (house, car, pocket). They aren't blindingly brilliant, of course, but they give off a useable amount of light for very close range stuff. I had trouble with one of them flickering, but after I changed the cheap factory batteries with some Maxells, no more trouble. They use LR44 button batteris (4), which are pricey in stores, but extremely affordable on eBay in bulk. They seem to have held up well to daily carry, and they are extremely compact. Overall, great little lights, thus far.

Aloha G. Scott H.,

Aaaaargghhhhh! NOT Button Cells!!!:D I guess I will stick to my Fenix for now!:o My old duty lights used CR123A's, and those were killing me. Now however, I use the Boker Impact III light...uses 2 AA's or it can be made smaller and run off one CR123A. A great light!

Thanks for the info...and God bless:cool:

That's why I didn't get one for a long time. Once I had one (and a cheap source for button cells) it stopped bugging me. Still, it would be nice if they ran off some other sort of single battery.

Sorry I had to be the one to break the news to you (about the button cells), though.:o :D

Take care.
