Don Hanson's Scary Tac is one of my very favorite knife designs. I'd owned a couple in the past, but parted with them, at friends' requests, hoping instead to finally have one in my own favorite "flavor". This lead to an order for a pair of Scary Tacs, the pair being tied together as such from the use of the same damascus material. Otherwise, each Scary was to be completely dissimilar from the other. Pay particular attention to the difference in blade profile.
As a teaser, while waiting for the photographer to finally finish the imaging process, I did a short thread (link below) about a week ago showing one side of the blade on one of the pieces , so that at the very least, the really cool Damascus of Don's could be checked out .

The professional imaging isn't apparently forthcoming anytime soon, near as I can figure, so here are my own, poorly shot/badly exposed images of this great pair.
