When I was out today to take some pictures of my new Stan Wilson Advisor I had the idea also to photograph my two older Steigerwald knifes, which I do own since some time but showed never before in the forum.
The first one is the Whale Hunter which was made 2002.
The damascus is from Fred Schmelz, the handle material is mammoth ivory with silver stripes.
The knife is 230mm long, the blade is 105mm long.
The second one is calles Alligator and was also made in 2002.
The damasus is from Jürgen Rühl, the handle material is Narwhal.
The knife is 285mm long, the blade is 145mm long.
I am not a big fan of fixed knifes and prefer to collect folders.
But this wonderful couple I do love a lot ;-)
