When I was out today to take some pictures of my new Stan Wilson Advisor I had the idea also to photograph my two older Steigerwald knifes, which I do own since some time but showed never before in the forum.

The first one is the Whale Hunter which was made 2002.
The damascus is from Fred Schmelz, the handle material is mammoth ivory with silver stripes.
The knife is 230mm long, the blade is 105mm long.

I am not a big fan of fixed knifes and prefer to collect folders.
But this wonderful couple I do love a lot ;-)

No, this is not my website, it is the website from the first owner of these knifes.

I was in love with these two knifes when I saw them for the very first time.
Unfortunately they were already sold by the maker.
So I was very happy when I could buy both for my collection (from the owner of this website) some years later.

I'm IN LOVE with that alligator knife. How cool is that?!

Little update...

For sure both knifes do also have a leather shealth.
The one of the Whale Hunter is out of Shark leather, the one of the Alligator ist out of Alligator leather - what else? ;-)

Here they are:

Stefan is so innovative and original with his knife art.
No wonder you fell in love with these two beauties... :)

All the best,
