These are beautiful knives!! Mirror finish blades with Sambar stag slabs.

It took me a while to find the blemished part of each, but I realized the Boone and Crockett Club medallion was set slightly below even with the gorgeous stag. Other than that they are perfect.

Here they are;

Thanks for looking!! :)

Just found this while browsing... I could be wrong but it looks to me like the main blade is double stamped. Looks like it is 301 over 300... or the other way around. The last 0 looks distorted. Even appears to have a dot in the center of it, and actually looks more like a D than a 0.

I wanted to add some wildlife also. This is Alice whom I met here in Vermont yesterday morning while doing some volunteer work.

Anyone have any ideas on what I might add to the medallion to bring it up even with the Sambar stag on the 301's?? I was thinking of clear polyurethane, but don't want to make a mess of it.

I wish it was....that would be nice. What you are seeing is actually Buck's date code for 2012....a backward "c" with a dot in the center.

I say just leave them, they look great as is. I'm thankful that they don't mark them Factory Blems any more.

Wow, those are both real lookers! very nice, what did the charge for those?

So they don't mark them FB, for factory blems, anymore?
I missed that I guess.

Not sure that is good if unknowing people get them down the road from someone who sold them as first quality.

I picked them up in Buck's store for $50.00 each. These were my best buy until I spotted two Alaskan Guide 110's in stag that weren't factory blems for $80.00 each.

The blems are marked on the box only now with a marker going through the model number on the end of the box label.

Darn, those sure are a real value! Wish that I could have been there at the factory with you guys.

Now that I am home, maybe should have gotten one of those myself. You would really have to know what to look for to tell them as blems...300
