Well, with my original TG mil overrun, I didn't think I would order the new TGBLs but then the 1/3 the weight thing seemed attractive not to mention getting them in my color schemes. I'm still thinking about getting one in the comp finish, but I still havent' decided if I want to give up rust resistance for shiny metal

Two very fine blades indeed!!! Get the comp finish. Go on. Beat it. Scratch and ding it up. Get it all dirty. Love it. Never clean it properly and it will be a thing of beauty. :)
 
yeah, abusing the Busse's are fun.. as long as you forget what you paid for them :))))) The Black paper on comp finish looks really good, wonder how long the TGBLs will be up... should called the Daryl special from walking dead... Busse should have made the samurai sword for the next season :)
 
What is the G10 color combo there? Looks like Black/Green on the Jungle Green coating, which is what I have, but yours looks nothing like mine. :confused: The individual "colors" look a lot thicker on yours, thus the overall pattern looks quite a bit different (different than any other I recall seeing, for that matter).

Here's mine, for reference:

I thought the same thing.

Frank, that unique green/black G-10 looks pretty sweet paired up with jungle green. :thumbup:
 
Hmmm... i'm kinda liking that green/black on jungle green, too.

Might be my next toy.
 
Well, I was a bit surprised on how it looked, I thought it would look like the one spyderfreak posted.. yes very thick laminate with dominate black over green.. I would actually have like the other version with more green.. but now I feel unique with mine :)
 
interesting on the weight between G10 and Canvas. The Canvas weighed in at 15.8 ounces and the G-10 was 17.9 ounces.. sitting there playing with the canvas and it really blew me away how little it weighs for the blade you get. might have to get one more before they depart from us.
