I tried two new things with leather the other day.

I had a family friend press me into making a holster for her husband (I have known them for about 20 years).

She wanted a pocket holster for his Kahr.

This was my first attempt at a holster.

I also did my first attempt at vinagroon. Always amazing when something like that works (who knew that rusty vinegar would make leather so black!)

The second piece is a scrap left over, I decided to make it into a flashlight/clip holder (also just a pocket deal)

Here is the back of the sheath. did a flat back, with a bit of curve to on the flap to try and make it blend in the pocket a bit more

You did good, really nice looking. I especially like your stitch line along the gun profile.

Thanks.

I am going to make a similar pocket holster for my pocket revolver, and a carry companion for the reloads. For this gun, it did seem easier than sheaths for knives I have made so far.

Man those look really nice and the vinegroon gave it a really nice black. I might have to give that a shot soon. Great job my friend!!

The mag/light carrier was just a dyed scrap. I spent literally no time on it. I just wanted to use up that scrap of leather.
