I just finished these for the Knife Expo in Pasadena, CA this weekend. They are the same pattern except one is a linerlock and the other is a slipjoint. Both have 3 1/2" blades and are 7 1/2" opened.
The slipjoint has a blade of CPM154 steel, lightning strike carbon fiber scales, ball bearing system on the pivot, bronze liners, bronze bolsters that I engraved.
The linerlock has a feather pattern damascus blade of 1084/1095/15n20, carbon fiber scales, Ti liners.
Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for looking.

love em! One day I would like one:)
Nice engraving man:thumbup::cool:

Those are BOTH cool! I like the engraving too! VERY creative and looks good with the scales.

I am kicking myself for not attending the Pasadena Show this year.
Both are great looking knives but #2 has me going back for a 2nd, 3rd and 27th look. In addition to all the obvious virtues, I really like the engraving. I am a fan of the art on old nautical charts and this really looks like it could be one of the sea monsters. Thanks for the photos.

Thanks guys for the comments. I'm really digging on the engraving thing. It's brought a new demention to my knife making. I can't wait for the next project. I need to shout out a thanks to Tom Ferry for all the help and support he has giving me in getting my engraving off the ground.

Thanks

Nice folders Mike! I too really like that engraved slip joint.

I usually go to Pasadena each year but can't this year. I would be checking out that slipjoint otherwise, it's got it all - carbon fiber, stainless, engraved bronze, and lookin' good!

Very cool Mike! I like how you made a slipjoint and linerlock from the same design. Your engraving is looks real nice on the slipjoint. Great choice on the materials too.
