A couple of new knives were added to the collection after attending Blade 2012

The first is a Bowie by David Lisch

The knife is 14" OAL with a 9" blade of what David calls Flash Back Damascus composed of 15N20/1080/1075 with a bronze spacer between the damascus guard and the Walrus Ivory Artifact handle

The second knife is made by John H. Davis called a Ox Horn Bowie with fancy sheath. OAL is 11" with a 6 1/2" blade of 1084/15N20 in 5 bars. The spacers and guard are made of nickel silver with the handle composition being made of Ox Horn and Buckeye Burl.

Great score Murray, Love that "flash back" damascus pattern, david's knives are well thought out and are looking real nice . That ox horn bowie looks like it would feel real nice in the hand.

Very nice scores, Murray! The Lisch is talking to me. I'm a sucker for nice artifact handles and this one is sweet. The damascus is signature Lisch great and love that bronze spacer, just the right amount of highlighting on this knife.

Murray it wa great talking with you thanks for the great pic of the knife and its steel I am thrilled to have a knife in your collection.

Stunning knives, both of them!! They'll further enhance your stellar collection!!

Thanks Guys! Still have to get all the collection displayed again. The Davis is very nice in the hand and was another piece with a handle material which was new to the collection so it was an easy decision to purchase it. I just got to see the other knife Roger obtained from David and I like it a lot too. I'm still trying to decide but probably will ask dibs on it ok Roger unless someone beat me, and then figure out how to make the three amigos into 4 amigos as it would fit perfectly with the other knives by Jerry, Bruce and Tommy. As usual, Blade was a fun show even though I was extremely busy with the images. This year has been good having gotten nice pieces from Paul Savage, David Lisch and John Davis.

Both are very nice, Murray. ;) There a reason why Dave keeps winning awards for his damascus.

Thanks for posting.
