Craig won Best Bowie/Camp Knife at the PKA Show in Denver this past weekend but that knife went home with its new owner before I could photograph it. (I was filling in as show photographer for Terrill Hoffman and got to see all the winners and everything else at the show too.)
Craig's work stands out. Plus he's what I would call "one of the good guys" - a hard worker in the service of the show, the other makers and the greater good. I'm happy to offer this plug for his knives.
This one is very striking and well integrated. 11 1/4 in. OAL, blade 6 1/2 in. made of 1084 and 15N20 damascus, cost $700.
I would've purchased this one in a heartbeat but it was sold. It's an elegant 'compact bowie style fighter' not too big to carry - OAL 9 1/2 in., 1084/15N20 damascus steel, blued mild steel guard and fittings, cost for similar $400, time to delivery 8 mos. Contact: craig@camererknives.com
