Best of luck to ya Jesse. Your gonna love that thing if you get it.

That's Pala holding mine in my avatar not long ago and it's just a swell knife. Feels sweet in hand.

I don't look quite as good holding it as Pala does but I do my best ya know?

EMs on Kobra and got DD !!!!
Grats Aero! Those liitle Kobras are sweet! I have a Reti Kobra and its such a stout knife you could use it in the woods as a general camp carving knife etc. and still light and fast as any fighter.
Wish I could snag that Kothimoda but too close to property tax time:grumpy:

Almost jumped on the Thamar chuirra but wasn't feeling it. The next Thamar I get will be for my father in law so I'm very selective about what he will like.

Yea, I know the feeling, my property tax is in the high 4 figures! Scary stuff, and my house is just 1200 SQ Feet on a 4000 SQ Feet lot, it's just a 3 bedroom, 2 bath abode, the bedrooms are just 10' x 10', living room is 10' x 19". The SF Bay Area's cost of housing is crazy!

EGADDS!!! Id be Gentrified outta here if mine were that high. If mine are $4K ill be happy. Any more and im buying me a boat and to heck with property taxes.

This is the first year my house appears so I dont have a clue how much they will appraise it at. Might end up selling some Khuks at the end of the year but I hope not. They are trying to tax my doghouse for $80.000 when last year it was $30.000. They dont realize it aint framed in and completed on the inside so I had to appeal it twice so far. Been fighting with them for several months now. Yeah I bet your area is crazy high taxes. Hard to get also I would think.

Ahhh! That Kothimoda is still there? Thats a sweet knife for short of a C-note. Ill stare at it a bit longer. Somebody save me from a trip to my $80K doghouse please. Hmmm. Better go make sure theres beer in the fridge first:D

Property out here is crazy. 1100 SQ Ft houses going for median price 800K, selling 100K or more over asking price. Buddy just bidded on a 965 Sq Ft in SF, price was 785K, he offered 50K over asking price, it was sold for 978K to someone else, and all cash too.

OMG! I thought Illinois was bad!

I doubt anywhere else is as bad. Hawaii and NY might be close. I know that Hawaii's HOA fees are crazy. My buddy in NY is paying over 4k a month to rent a 1 bedroom in Manhattan.

What keeps you there Cul? I can't comprehend folks actually paying to live in California myself.

The weather is decent, but I can't think of anything else that would draw me there. Maybe being neighbors with Jennifer Anniston or something but doubt they'd even let me drive through them neighborhoods.

I'm leaning towards Wyoming myself. 7 count em, 7 people per square mile. And that includes the high density area's where most folks live. So you get out a ways, there ain't nobody per square mile and I could have a little elbow room.

Figure maybe 75 or 100 square miles with just me, dig me a kronkew moat and raise me some moat monsters.
Have some sort of secret signal for when any of my friends here want to visit.

That would be living to me.

My brother is in Lake Elsinore, the prices are about the same as the area we're in, in Illinois. However, our taxes are in the low 5 digits.

Bawanna, we're on the same page! I love New Mexico but, I understand it's changed a bunch since I was last there in 93.

You know, because I've been in the Bay Area my whole life, it doesn't seem all that bad, but when I hear of the "cost of living" in other places, and what one can get at what price, I do get the urge to relocate. CA has been good to my family, and we've earned and experienced the American dream. We may relocate when we retire to stretch our dollars more, but we'll always have the property here in CA, we'll never sell, it'll make a nice source of rental income for us in the future.

Back to the matter at hand, is the Kothimoda still available?! That can't be right, made by Purna too! If it's still available, and you don't have one, get this one, because it's a super deal, and a cool red scabbard to boot.

It's almost like you were talking directly to me through osmosis Cul. You really think I should get it? I don't have one, do you have one?

It deserves a good home. Somebody complete the adoption papers straight away. Not enough beer in Ndogs doghouse for both of us.
