Took the pics with my cell phone this afternoon.
Camillus era stripped Brute and my brand new BK9.
I talked my brother out of the Brute on the condition that if I ever wanted to part with it, he got
first crack at it....:rolleyes: like that will ever happen....:D
The triangle shaped top left corner of the bottom pic, is my thumb :o

I'll try to get some better pictures up soon.

That's more than just stripped looks like chrome or a very nice polishing job.
 
The Brute has an interesting story. When you battoned with it, the original finish would react with the sap and it would bind all the time.
So, I did the only thing one could humanely do, I stripped it and hand polished it up nice...:thumbup:
If you look at the tip, you'll see it looks black, that's because I left the original finish on that for a neat effect.

Wow man, I just finished hand polishing my BK7 up to mirror, I couldn't imagine doing a Brute lol.
