Who's got one? I've had one on order for a little over a year and can't wait to get it. However, that's not why I'm posting. What I'd like to know from anyone with one of these finely made tools is how, and in what, do you carry it? I'd love to have some kind of sheath for it made, but haven't seen many examples of one for it.

(1) Thanks much for your faith and your patience.
(2) Revolutionary war troops often carried hawks in a drop sheath which was a part of the bayonet frog hung from a shoulder strap. Some frontiersmen had a hawk sheath built into their shooting pouch (again, hung from the shoulder). A belt sheath can be built but the handle will beat the sh*t out of your leg unless set up for inverted carry.
(3) Traditional carry by fur trade trappers and Indians was thrust through the belt at the back, out of the way. It helps to have an edge cover to keep from slicing your elbows into dog food if you use this carry (unless you are using another maker's dull tomahawks). Best edge cover I've seen was made by Dan Bussinger danbussinger@hotmail.com but I don't know if he wants to do commercial leather work so you'd have to ask him.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Two Hawks

jedi I have two of two hawks hawks. the warbeast and alonghunter bob is by far the best hawk maker alive......... you will love it and is well worth the wait to get it. mine has never let me down have skined many a buck with it and general camp work with it. you can see mountianhollow forge for a drop sheith as they made a beauty of a pice for me . I also wait for a war hawk from bob . he is a master at what he does and you will love his work Hi bob and take it easy dont work to hard. :p

I will second that. I also own two of 2 Hawks hawks. A long hunter which I made into a custom variant and a belt hawk. I own a few of the best hawks around. Two hawks hawks are
excellence in the cutting edge, finish and functional simplicity. His Hawks outcut all I have.
Equally as important, 2 Hawks is a gentelman, passionate about his work and believes in customer service even if it's in the secondary market. He is a custom hawk maker I am proud to have made association with, and proud to carry his tools. All good things come to those who wait. Just my 2c.

Pinar. I know I'm a few months late in responding, but I've been a little distracted with school, job searching, and appartment hunting. Do you have a link to Mountainhollow Forge so I can get ahold of them to ask about a drop sheath? I did a search and nothing came up.

2-Hawks. I contacted Dan and he said he'd be willing to make a blade cover for me once I recieve my Longhunter from you and for me to just let him know about when I expected to get it from you.

Again, sorry about the late reply. I start browsing around here again as fall comes up and hunting season approaches. I'm gettin' antsy. haha :)
