Two I'd been wanting for some time

These two just came in the mail today and I'm happy to get them. I have several other versions of the Kalinga, but I didn't have one of the older versions with the pointed guard and micarta handles until this one. I also had one black handled 560 with a 110 blade buildout and a 186, but wanted a real 560. I'm very pleased with both of these. :thumbup:

Thanks, it was a pretty good deal too and it doesn't appear to have ever been used. I'm now on a quest to find an original sheath for it as it didn't have one with it. I might even have to get one made.
 
Man I'd love to have both of those! That Kalinga is really awesome! I love the Micarta and the curves of the knife. I think I gotta get me one of those as there is not one single Kalinga in my collection.

I have some of the new model Kalinga's both fixed blades and folders, but the old style just suit me better. :thumbup:
 
COOL! Those older Kalingas were the best ones in my opinion. Now you need to get an Akonua to go with it:D
