I can't contain my excitement, so I have to share. Both of these showed up within 20 minutes of one another today. First was my small Classic Sebenza with, well, you can read the card. The other, a box elder Mnandi w/raindrop stainless Damascus. Though both are clearcoated, the Mnandi has more of shine to the blade. It actually compliments the wood very well.

Lisa did an outstanding job on my Seb. I asked for a silver contrast to look like a falling meteor. The meteor being a star sapphire. As par usual, Lisa is a true craftsman.

WOW, just WOW. How long did it take from the time you ordered the silver contrast/meteor sebbie until you recieved it ??

Regards

I think I ordered it sometime in late August early September. I was actually surprisied when I got the call yesterday from Heather. It's hard not to ponder over when these things will be done. Now I'm in line for some 07' Limited Editions. Oh yeah, and the "New One"!
 :D

Beautiful acquisitions! I especially love the pronounced star effect in the saphire of the sebbie -- sometimes those don't come out that dramatically, and yours is a great specimen. Congrats on some fine knives!

In the group photo, I can't quite make out what's on the handle of the large regular with the serrated blade. What is it?

Great looking duo, even more special since you designed it yourself!

Thanks guys. I have to give props. to Lisa, as she's the real designer. I just asked her to do some type of flamming meteor.

Fooj,
Sorry for the bad photo, this is the only one I have right now. The large Seb is an exclusive from the ETS(Equipped To Survive) website. This one being a little more special as I had them do it silver contrast with serrations and a blue star sapphire.

Those are beautiful knives you have there!! WOW! I really like the one that looks like a falling meteor. That is incredible!! That Mnandi is also quite gorgeous too!

I remember that knife, pretty cool and the serrations are different than
any other I've ever handled, I'd say they would quickly start a cut faster
than a straight edge ever would, very aggressive and easily sharpened too.

Nice collection there!
