Finally managed to finish these two, my first interframes with handles in grade 2 titanium. Just have to put an edge on them. Still trying to improve on my inlay quality though. The pictures really does not do the knives full justice, need to improve a lot there too.
Specs:
Blade: RWL34 1/8 thick, approx 2 3/4 inches long at 59-60 HRC, hollow ground on 12" wheel.
Handle in grade 2 Ti with inlayed lock bars in 6al4v Ti. Anodized.
Top one has protruding inlays in Lightning Strike CF, bottom one stabilized european walnut, flush with the handle.
The handles are held together with 2 screws through the back spacer, going into blind, threaded holes in the front side of the handle, and of course the pivot assembly. Thumb studs are also screwed into a blind hole in the blades.
