I was browsing an online knife shop and saw that both the original Dragonfly and the Remote Release II are listed as discontinued. When was this announced?

Dealers are generally alerted to items being discontinued before we are.

Darn. I'm going to have to think about grabbing a Dragonfly. I was hoping to see what the price of the new version would be before nabbing an old one. Any word on weather the old Para is done for or if it's going to go side by side with the new one for a while?

The fact that they've discontinued the Dfly makes me suspect (or hope, anyway) that the new model must be ramping up to full production...

Sounds logical, assuming the knife shop in question did not make a mistake, or is not just saying that they will no longer be carrying the Dragonfly.

Yeah I hope they discoed the current frn Dfly in order to bring in the new frn Dfly with wire clip, VG10, and bi-directional handles. :)

And I say about time! The fact that the molded clip has made it to 2010 is unbelievable. Can't wait to get a new FRN D'Fly to go with my G10 version.

hmm... could be a hint that the Millie 2 is near?
it would make sense to offer on the new platform all blade options, while keeping on the current Millie only the best selling configuration, which presumably is PE
