Two Kitchen Knife Rehandles

Here are two kitchen knives I finished putting new shoes on recently:

I'm not sure what the woods are as they were not provided by me, but I'll take a guess on each:

First one I believe to be a Maple burl:

Second one reminds me of Amboyna burl:

Both handles look great.
The maple is most likely correct.
The second is definitely amboyna.
