Two latest additions...okay, no more Spyderco's for the rest of the year, I mean it!

I think I have a problem. I can't stop buying these things!

I just got a Chaparral and Endura Wave in the mail today. Couldn't pass them up.

The collection is growing. And despite all the self-control I can muster, something tells me I'll be getting another one in a few weeks. :p

Weeks??? You DO have self control. Sometimes I can't even wait a few days!

Nice pile so far, you have a long way to go though.

I know what you mean. I got so bad at one point that I had a new knife or knives arriving every few days. My wife was not pleased, but I sure was happy. :)

I've had a revolving door of spydercos for the past few months, ususally about a knife a week coming and going. I try own no more than 5 and no less than 2, and I'll usually sell one when I want to get another. I may have to bust that rule because I now have 5 that I don't want to part with and I know I will be wanting others in the very near future.

I carry my chaparral all the time. its versatility will surprise you for the size. enjoy!

Thanks! I'm sure I will. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. Especially with the XHP steel. Very glad I picked it up. Will make the perfect office/slacks/suit knife, imo. Especially with the awesome clip. Fit and finish is absolutely second to none. Very fine little blade.

Man you gotta add a Millie to the collection! Its an amazing knife.

I've considered it, but I'm sort of on the fence. Not a fan of tip-down carry, and liner locks don't really do it for me. I'll probably get another PM2 though. :)

Looks like you've got a great collection of the classic leaf-shaped Spydies. Now you gotta check out the more non-traditional shapes. Vallotton, Yojimbo2, GB, Zulu. I started with the more "classic" Spydies (Millie/PM2/Manix2) and it wasn't long until I was buying the funkier styles. Also, the Gayle Bradley. It's a crime against humanity if you don't buy a Gayle Bradley.

Amateurs. :D
I just went and did something I shouldn't have. Checked my credit card statements for the last 4 months. This is what I've purchased in that time frame. The only ones missing are my Lum that I forgot to take out of my other pants and an "R" that I sold to a friend recently.
I'm going to do a $$$ count on these.
No more for me after my Grayman Dua, Southard, SuperBlue Endura and Domino show up.... I swear.

Just wondering...the pm2 anywhere available at this time??
By the way nice collection, scares me and my wallet,im on the best way for a divorce(again)!!!

Very nice collection, Barman1.

Thanks BatCountry9. I've been eying the Yojimbo 2 actually. Might be my next buy. I'm just a big fan of how well rounded and utilitarian the leaf-shaped blades are. The Gayle Bradley is on my radar too. Though I'm not the biggest fan of liner/frame locks, it is a solid tool. And now that I got my first Taiwanese produced Spyderco and see how superbly it's put together I have no worries taking the plunge on it.

Mountaingreek, I'd check ebay. You'll be paying between $130 and $160 but it's well worth the premium. I got mine for under $100 shipped a few months ago since some small ma and pa shop had mislabeled it.

Ugh, when I got more into collecting knives I told myself "hey, it's cheaper than guns and ammo", but I'm finding that to be less and less true with each new knife I want.

I tell myself the same thing every week. I bought my first Spyderco about 8 years ago a Police Combo edge. That was the only Knife I had until about 2 months ago. I've bought about 9 spydercos since then. And then I come to this forum and see something else I have to have. just ordered lum tanto sprint. I told myself since its a sprint it doesn't count. Now there is the Domino, and several others coming out soon that I'm very interested in. The Hungarian Folder looks awesome. This Hobby is quickly becoming more expensive than my gun hobby.
