Here's a couple EDC's I just finished up. Both have blades that are 3 1/2" forged from my very own Big Hole damascus. Both have wrought iron fittings and stabilized curly koa handles. Overall the knives are around 7 1/2". Both have my two ply cowhide sheaths. These will most likely be my last two knives for the AKA Show weekend after next.

These are my favorites So far. So unique and collectable. If you don't mind me asking how much are they going for in Little Rock. Can I asks that here?

Bruce, More than a couple bucks. I haven't set a price yet. I wonder if we will get hit with sales tax in Little Rock.

I'm always fascinated by your interesting work! When I log on the Forum I always look for your posts!

One day I hope to see your knives first hand.

These look cool even when they are in the sheath.
Great knives!

Mark, They should look good like that since the koa came from you. I'm really liking the koa! My pictures don't really do it justice.

Steve Nuckles, Little Rock will be the closest I get to Maryland. You ought to try making the show. My knives do look better in person.

Mountain Billy, Yes I'll be doing the OKCA Show and I also plan on doing the Washington Show in October.

Ray these are really cool. I like the damascus, and of course your handles, fittings and sheaths are magic. Have a great show in Little Rock!

Best,
Eric

Raymond Richard damascus is great to see! Is it new or from a stash?

This was damascus I made a couple years ago. The reason for the name Big Hole is because I caught my pant leg on fire from the red hot borax and ended up with a big hole along with getting a pretty good burn on my leg. I've never really caught the damascus bug.

They would have looked great even with plain handle material.
I like the way the shape of the handle goes with the Easter Island heads on the sheaths.

Wow, finally got that "big hole" Damascus put into a knife! I wasn't sure if you we still too mad about the fire to build the knives :D

I like 'em Ray! I sure like the new dressy fitting treatment, and the wood looks killer.
