I am riding my Harley out to Laconia, New Hampshire for the 84th Anniversary Laconia Motorcycle Rally, leaving this Friday. :D I am riding out with my son, my son-in-law and daughter, and five other couples. :D  Guessing 3000 miles round trip in seven days. Anyway, to comemerate the trip I picked up these two Buck Sirus knives to give to my son and son-in-law. I think they will like them.:)

Triple E,

I sure hope you are no where near Laconia with all that RAIN!
Its pretty sure we will see some though, Laconia is known for being the
"wet" rally.:(

Mainewoodsman, you'r the first to comment on the gun. Its not a shotgun.
Its a CO2 powered .177 caliber pellet gun with a 20 shot "clip". I absolutely HATE starlings. :grumpy: Its quite effective.;)

The profile sure looks a lot like a 20 ga., I've got a woodpecker that has decided that it likes the side of my house... I'm thinking that might be perfect. ;) I've got some heavier stuff I could use against this critter, don't need to damage no siding - LOL

Nice choice of knives. Did you get them engraved or find them that way? I'm guessing you had it done.

I don't have a Sirius yet, but I hear a lot of people say that they are a very nice knife. I really think its a good gift for an adventure like you are about to take, I just recently got some of my old college friends Mayo Bucks that I had engraved for a camping trip we took. One of them chickened out at the last minute and didn't go, but I sent him the knife anyway.

schiesx,

I had them engraved, cost me $15 for both knives, not bad and he did a nice job I think.:D

I love me Sirus. :D The assisted opening technology Buck calls ASAP or LEAP.
I think it opens faster than any of my button automatics.
Get one, they arent all that expensive and make a great allaround EDC, IMHO.

Greetings!

Returned from my trip to Laconia Motorcycle Rally in New Hampshire:D . Son and Son-in-Law quite surprised  and pleased :D with my engraved Buck Sirus knives for them.

Here is Sonny boy dueling with a 1 and a half pound Maine Lobster when we rode over to Kennebunkport, Maine one day!
Final score was Buck 3, Lobsters 0 :D :D
