Working on some two wood combos here is what I came up with so far
Tropical combo : Bocote over Osage Orange

All American combo: Walnut over Maple

These scales are up for grabs, so to speak
 
The Bocote and osage mix looks really good.

But then, I am fond of osage as handle material.

I normally don't bother to change my grips from what the knife originally came with, but that bocote & osage is pretty sweet! :thumbup:
 
Wow! Those are some beautiful Bocote over Osage Orange grips. And the more I look at your American combo, the more I like that too. Truly fantastic work there. You got skills. I bet your mom brags about you all the time.

i love seeing what people do to their beckers,they are functional pieces of art,and they all have a kind of personality unique to them and the people who use them.
