When I said Kumar made the best horn handle of any kami at BirGorkha, including Bura, I meant it. We are seeing fine work by Kumar and a good deal of it. There are certain perks which go with being foreman at BirGorkha. Bura is hangfire right now so Sanu has stepped in as temp. foreman -- emphasis on temp. I think Kumar sees a possibility of perhaps passing Sanu for the position. We'll keep Bura on even if he can't do anything but watch and drink tea so I try to look for good to come from bad and maybe this is it. It's an ill wind that blows no good.

top -- Kumar made a hybrid Hanshee/M43 and it is great. 17.5 inches and 25 ounces of excellent khukuri. It is flawless as far as I can tell. Beautiful work by Kumar. Handle is partial tang but pinned and Kumar's hand made pin is almost perfectly round. Excellent karda and chakma. Perfect and well fitting scabbard by village sarki in new leather. Standard 100 year HI superfrog. This is one of the best looking rigs I've seen in the last year or so. It's a bargain at $145 delivered to your door.

bottom -- Beautifully done 18 inch 25 ounce Chitlangi by Kumar which has a wonderful and somewhat rare for this model horn handle. This is really fine work by Kumar. Can't see a think wrong with this rig. Perfect karda and chakma. Great Chitlangi style scabbard by village sarki in new leather. Perfect fit. Delivered to your door for $145

Guys, I'm in a tight spot with this m43. Let's hope my wife pregnant and 41 in July will be forgiving of the many excesses I've thrown into her path this spring and summer.

Partial tang on the M43? You mean the steel doesn't go to the end of the handle or that the tang is like normal khukuri's and not chir?

Fine by me either but I am curious.
You should have seen the commotion. Two kids fighting in background, 2 year old wants truck, five year old has truck (always, right?) lunchtime, and me trying to type fast with trembling fingers to get the m43 before the Cave opens up. I didn't even ask myself how to pay. There will be a way.

I plan on robbing all the liquor stores within a hundred mile radius. Since everyone knows everyone in eastern montana I'll have to be real polite.

Munk, sound like my situation. Home repairs sucking $$$$, my first kid on the way on October, and those darn M 43s showing up now. I saw that Jim | Clifton was stalking, too. Where does he get all that $$$$??? Selling guano and dog tacos?
