Very nice.

Does that Mnandi have a lanyard? If so, do they come that way from CRK now?

The former owner put this lanyard on it. I don't believe they come with one...hopefully someone here will know and chime in.

Lisa,
Very nice!! I have never seen a Mnandi come with a lanyard, yet the back spacer is grooved just enough to allow for the right diameter thread to loop around and form a lanyard - if you want to tie one off there. If the thread is just the right thickness it should hold up well, yet just miss the blade as it closes.
Enjoy! Beautiful pieces for a kind collector!
Dr. Ernie

Those are two very nice pieces but that Mnandi is very nice indeed. What is the wood used for the inlay on that one ?

Very nice indeed... That is one lovely Sebenza, and a wicked Mnandi. You say you will grab 2 more Chris Reeve knives... but which ones?

Actually I should have said I have two more in route...and no others purchased/ordered at this time.
They are a Large Classic with Creamy Mammoth Ivory inlays and another Mnandi, but inbound one has a decorative pin and Desert Ironwood inlay.

What is the wood used for the inlay on that one ?
The wood on this one is Mesquite Burl.

I really like that Mesquite Mnandi. Being in Texas, it sort of reasonates with me.

Thanks for putting yet another knife on my "once-my-truck-is-paid-off" list.

Lisa,

Wowsers! A classic sebbie. The mesquite burl is about as good as I have seen (better than the one I just bought).

Very nice Lisa :) I think it's time for another full collection pic! What CRK is coming next??!!!

The two incoming are:
Large Classic with Creamy Mammoth Ivory inlays
Mnandi with decorative pin and Desert Ironwood inlay

Wow. Your on a roll as of late. Cant wait to see that mammoth ivory sebbie. I had a mesquite burl mnandi too for like a day and it was a gorgeous knife but
was just too small and light for me. Beautiful wood though.

those are some nice knvies. in the past month since i've joined, you've snagged some great ones. did you get the recent two from plaza? I saw they do the dog paws design. if i have the funds, i'd like to pick up one of theirs when they do their show.

You sure there is not a third with the new steel?
Yes, but it already arrived :)

I'll post pics of the Mammoth upon arrival.

I don't understand why folks post such great ones for sale...but I'm not complaining :) The most recent two were bought second hand. The dog paws has a plaza cutlery box as that design is exclusive to them.

I have a BIG itch for another CRK...oh the "habit"
I can identify all too well that that statement :D
