Just got the sage 1 and the persian. Hadn't seen many reviews of the persian and didnt know what to expect when i did get it. I love this elegant blade shape... the solid weight of the metal lock-back, it is the perfect size for a smaller but tougher knife (a tougher delica). All in all i have no idea why it doesn't get more attention. Here are some pictures my entire collection of folding knives... yes all four of my knives.

Anyonew want to share pictures of their Persian?

I have heard some positive things on the Persian. I havent had the honor to handle(fondle) one yet. The blade shape really gets my attention.

C83 old school original Persian is one of the first few Spydercos I bought. It is my primary EDC for last six years. Every day, except, when I go out of state it is in my FRP or IWB. Excellent ergos, cutting abilities and probably the best looking Spyderco ever made.

Paul has very nice collection of Persians. Few customized. Hopefully he will post his pictures, otherwise you can find them on his website.
I am not a good photographer, but my friend WhyNot is. So these are his pictures

I bought my first small Persian couple years later and also was impressed with the look, lightness and ergos. Even Phil Dobson put custom scales on one of them. This is his pictures.

I carried few times, but for some reasons 99.9% of the time it is sitting in my drawer. Even when I need smaller knife, I rather take Caly3. Probably it doesn't have my name on it. But my son loves his small Persian.

Thanks for the awesome pictures tinwhiskers and bh49... I love the look of the original Persian but hate the lack of a pivot screw

During six years of every day (almost :)) use I never felt that I am missing or need pivot screw on C83. But I also never felt that I need to disassemble Persian, Caly, or Kopa. I washed all of them.
