Just got a C.S. Barong to test out and a replica of the Spartan sword from the movie 300 (not historically accurate, but very, very sharp!). With my Steyr AUG for size comparisson.

For some reason I thought the barong would be shinier (shiney-er?).
How does it feel in hand? I often thought of bankrupting myself, I mean, buying one.
They look cool, although I confess the AUG never did anything for me.
What steel is the 300 sword made of? Ever since seeing the movie, I thought they were really cool looking swords.

The C.S. Barong has some grease on the blade.
The AUG is for size comparison to the blades.
The steel for the "300" sword is 1050. Not sure who makes it, got it as a gift.
