Two new Bush Style Knives from Von Hagen Knives.

Both of these knives are made from 3/16" 01 Tool Steel Bar Stock. They each have the same basic dimensions. The total length is 9" with a 4 1/8" blade. At the widest part, the blades are 1 ½" wide. Each of these knives have a Flat Grind.

One knife has an Olivewood handle while the other has a Chechen handle. Each of these knives have Black Vulcanized Spacers.
Both of the blades have been etched using a patina method to add dimension.

Thanks for taking a look.
Rick

Mark,
Thanks for your comment.

I actually got lucky on that Olive Wood. My neighbors were having their tree cut down and all I had to do was walk across the street and get whatever I wanted. It turned out to be some beautiful wood.

Very beautiful. I have always admired your work, having seen in on a certain auction site for years now.

Really snazzy scales and patina, a good looking and sharp grind and I especially like the way the handles fill the hand. In a time when so many bush styles are utilitarian, I am happy to see useful art:)
