Two new CRKs just arrived... Nyala and Large Damascus 25

First off I just noticed my Gold status lapsed so I cannot post pics at the moment.... but will get this sorted and add snaps.

First off I have a number of hollow handle CRKs, but never have seen or held the Nyala. Right from the box I absolutely love it... truly is a fixed blade Sebbie. Rreally love the size, shape and heft of it.

Second is a basket weave Damascus Large 25. Never had a damascus blade before but marvel at the beauty. Want to make it a daily carry but am concerned if the blade can take it without the pattern suffering too much. I did immediately call CRK to ask if they can refurb the blade if needed and they can re-etch, but cost depends on condition.

I have close to 15 CRK knives now and have had the majority of them at the back of the safe. These two have me re-energized to break them out and use them.

I've wanted a Nyala for a while now, but I can't stop buying folders. Glad to hear it's worth purchasing, though!
 
Congratulations for your collection! The Nyala is a great choice! Me too, sooner or later I would buy one, it has a beautiful design and seems to be perfect for hunting.. I prefer the coated version. Excellent choice for the Sebenza 25, but personally I like more the 21

Those are sweet, a great combo to rekindle the CRK flame !!!!
