These are some Crowells I have been waiting half a decade for. As usual, Jim doesn't disappoint with the fit, finish or design, just the delivery dates...
These are simple, unadorned knives made at the highest level of hand craftsmanship. In short, these are heirloom grade knives that my pictures don't adequately capture.
The large blade is a 10" rendition of the knife Jim won the World Championship cutting competition with. It has a 1084 core and 5160 laminates. Don't ask me why.
The 6" "fighter" is really well executed also and well balanced.
Blackwood handles. Stainless guards and pins. Little temperline.
Perfect, simple sheaths by brother Dave.
If you like classic, American bowie knives, Jim Crowell is a master. he also has a new website. http://www.crowellknives.com/Home.html
