Two new Custom Limited Editions for 2004 being shipped

Buck is apparently making it a priority to get new product out the door. Two of the new limited edition models are being shipped (at least in some quantity) to dealers who placed an early order.

First, the model 503SP3 Custom Prince: Sambar stag, barehead (no bolster at lock-bar end), mirror polished 420HC, serialized with a total of only 250 being made, limited edition box and certificate of authenticity. A real beauty and sure to be a collector's favorite. I expect it will be hard to get them with such a limited run.

Second, model 970SP1 Custom Dagger: Same model as the damascus dagger of a couple years ago - Elk Antler handle slabs, mirror polished 420HC, serialized with 250 quantity, black lacquered glass top presentation case and COA. Catalog picture seems to indicate file work all around the ricasso and handle but that could be a distortion.
Again, this will be a collector's prize due to its limited quantity and beauty.

Those sound like some real sweet knives Larry!! The 503's have always been one of my favorite "pocket" knives although I'd have to think twice before putting one THAT nice in my pocket. Thanks for giving us a heads-up on them. Info like this is one of the bonuses of hangin' around this place...

Glad to be of assistance. I figured forumites would be pleased to have a bit of an advance notice of some of the new limited edition models Buck has planned for 2004.

The 503 is sold out already, congratulations to the lucky ones able to connect on this. Great new line up by Buck this year, get the orders in early, the Shot Show is just around the bend and most will be gone by then.

Just saw a photo of the new dagger. Nice, just like my damascus one... which I have always wanted to have a sheath made for to actually carry it. Perhaps this new one. What is the MSRP, anyone???
